This is my first posting to the new Custer KOA site. Just trying out the new
software. Pretty easy to update and add pages however software is not the
purpose for this site. We will be posting articles, link, resources, videos,
maps, news that are relevant to South Dakota, the Black Hills, and camping and
RVs in general.
Well...it is clear to me why most folks do not camp in the Black Hills
during January. I was checking weather tonight and it is a nice toasty -2F in
Custer. Camping in sub zero temperatures can be a chili deal. Chili…get it. Oh…we
have a nice Chili cook-off in the fall at the Buffalo round-up. Lots of great
chili, beverage, song, and crafts. More details on that at a later date.
