Don't know if you caught it today. Live.com had an issue with their wonderful photo's today. I personally really live live.com and their search. I get great results and can easily find resources on the internet using the site. One really nice feature of live.com is the image they post every day. It typically is very scenic and innovative. Today the image was very innovative. It was a familiar picture for those of us that spend a lot of time in the Black Hills. Yes…I am talking Mount Rushmore. Today when I was searching for some camping information I saw the familiar faces and thought…wow…that is cool. However, something was wrong…I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Something just didn’t feel right about the photo.
Of course the photo was Mount Rushmore…everyone knows those faces. I even had my daughter draw me a picture of it a week or so ago. She was asking me what she could draw and I said…well..why not Mount
Rushmore. She did a great job and it was that picture that helped me solve my confusion with the live.com image before me. Oh…I see it now…George is on the right…when he should be on the left. And good old Abe was on the left…instead of the right. Since it was president’s day I now know why the image was up. I started thinking to myself… I wonder how long it will take them to notice. I had a good laugh and went on to look up some camping and RV sites.
Not two hours later the world was back in-order. I was at the site searching for some other Mount Rushmore information and George was back in a more familiar place. I guess in these days of photo shop it is easy to click flip 180. I no longer have to worry about whether I have a good-side or bad side. Photo shop will fix it.
